The Puller Pro is coming back… maybe. 👀

The Puller pro has been around for more than a decade, and for a long time these 4-pole sensored motors were some of the best options for brushless crawling.

But the RC world changed.

AM32 made outrunners dramatically better for low-speed control and much quieter than the old Castle/outunner combinations. Then FOC and modern 2-in-1 systems changed the game again.

So the Polar Pro slowly fell out of favor.

Now I'm working on the Puller Pro V3, and after nearly a year of samples, testing, and development, I've finally selected the stator and magnetics I want to use.

But there's a big question:

What versions should I actually make?

I'm looking at multiple sizes and KV options:

🔹 Stubby — compact 540-size motor with a 45mm can
🔹 Standard 540 — more stator length and higher power
🔹 540L — longer, more race-oriented version

And then there's an even bigger question…

Should the V3 remain a traditional sensored 4-pole motor that works with a wide range of ESCs?

Or should I develop an encoder version specifically for one of my speed controllers, allowing me to use FOC and potentially get much better low-speed control?

That's where I need YOUR input.

What would you actually buy?

What KV would you run?

Would you put a 4-pole back in a crawler, rock racer, or something else entirely?

And if you want to see what the old motors were like, there are still some Polar Pro V2s available on the website at around 50% off while supplies last.

The V2s still work great — the market just moved in a different direction.

Now I'm trying to figure out if there's still a place for the Polar Pro in today's RC world.
