Description
Episode 27 of Pro Audio Deal or Disaster is here, and this one's got
a little bit of everything — cinema speakers being hauled to barn
weddings, a free studio desk in Burbank, a DIY power distro that
should probably be destroyed before it hurts someone, and an Avid
Venue Profile package that's asking a very interesting question about
who the used market even is for gear like this anymore.
We've also got a pair of vintage horn speakers with some very
questionable NBC TV provenance, a mystery TSG line array, a
spotlessly clean Danley rig out of Las Vegas, and a rack full of
gear that someone's asking $1,800 for — assuming you can figure out
what's actually included.
As always, drop your stories, opinions, and "what were they thinking"
reactions in the comments. That's honestly the best part of this
series. If you've worked with any of this gear — especially the Avid
Venue Profile or that Danley setup — we want to hear from you.
