Judge Denies Two More Motions in Bankruptcy Court | Major Case Update

In this video, I break down two new orders issued by the United States Bankruptcy Court in the bankruptcy case involving Lynette Michelle Lacey.

On July 24, 2026, the Court issued:

• Order #136 – Denying the Debtor's Motion for Extension of Time to Respond to Interrogatories and Request for Production after the debtor's attorney failed to submit a proposed order as directed by the Court and within the required deadline.

• Order #137 – Denying the Debtor's Emergency Motion for a Protective Order regarding a deposition. The Court found the motion was not timely, ruled the debtor must appear for a deposition, and granted the creditor's request to seek reasonable attorney's fees and costs related to opposing the motion, with the amount to be determined later.

In this video we'll discuss:

Why the judge denied both motions
The Court's reasoning
What happens next in the bankruptcy case
What these rulings could mean going forward
