Having filmed Portsmouth Direct to Waterloo, now we present Portsmouth West from the Harbour station along the West Coastway line to Southampton. Filmed on board a class 166 Turbo DMU, we then turn to the north and into Salisbury followed by Warminster and finally Westbury where our driver ends his shift. This is an important cross country route (avoiding London) which has been running for over 125 years providing useful connections with the South Western main line, the West of England main line and the Berks and Hants.
