A beach bag that opens into a seaside pop-up scene? That's exactly what we're making in today's tutorial! ☀️🏖️🌴
In this cardmaking tutorial, I'm sharing how I created this fun Beach Bag Card using products from the Beach Collection by Sue Wilson. The outside is designed to look like a striped beach bag, but when opened it reveals a dimensional beach-themed diorama complete with palm trees, sunshine, sandy shores and relaxing seaside details ✂️
The design folds flat for mailing while still creating plenty of impact when displayed, making it a great project for summer birthdays, holiday-themed cards or anyone who loves interactive cardmaking.
The inspiration for the bag-style structure came from a fabulous project by Sam Calcott on YouTube, which I then adapted and resized to suit my own design and beach theme.
