From a small idea to a festive product! ✨
This Onam, we tried something different under Crewcat Labs & Crewcat Buzzar. What started as a fun thought in our free hours turned into a product experiment — blending AI tools + live action filmmaking with a simple problem: making pookkalam drawing easier (and more fun!).
Along the way, we got to explore how AI advancements are reshaping filmmaking, music, websites, social media, and even user behavior itself. The most interesting part? Hearing how many people saw this kit not just as a shortcut — but as a way to involve their kids, share stories, and keep traditions alive.
Moving into a studio space gave us less free time, but also new energy. Solving problems together, experimenting, learning — that’s been the real joy behind this project. This film and product are part of our Crewcat Lab experiments — curious, and full of learnings.
