It started with a camera, a shrine of cards, and zero plan. Just a uni student procrastinating from Neuroscience studies who thought - why not upload some videos? 17 years later, here we are! My entire 20s, and well into my 30s, documented through Pokémon, pop culture, food, music, and everything in between.
PokeCollection became something I never could have planned for. A community, a creative outlet, and a constant across every chapter of my life - including my professional career. I genuinely could not think of how different my life would be without it.
This year feels different. Quieter in some ways, bigger in others. The studio setup's better, the family's grown, career is thriving. But it's also been a rebuild kinda year. A hard drive failure back in November wiped a lot of what I had over the past few years, and getting back into the swing of things has taken time and motivation.
But I'm here, headphones on, and stoked to be creating again - on my own terms and around life as it is right now.
17 years of you lot showing up, even when I've gone quiet at times. That means more than I can say.
