Description
Legendary bird hunts and high-stakes captures headline Part 28 of our Pokémon FireRed playthrough on Nintendo Switch 2! Armed with our fresh stockpile of Poké Balls and Max Repels, we are scaling the volcanic peak of Mount Ember to capture Moltres, trekking into the icy caverns of Seafoam Islands for Articuno, catching Route 16's Snorlax, and battling through Cycling Road to fund our Zapdos expedition!
🌋 Mount Ember Summit: Returning to the volcano peak to weaken Moltres with Charizard's Smokescreen, Vileplume's Sleep Powder, and Pikachu's Thunder Wave before catching it in a Pokéball!
📜 National Dex Requirement: Visiting Professor Oak in Pallet Town to review our 22-owned Pokédex status and confirm the 60-species milestone needed for the Sevii Islands postgame.
❄️ Seafoam Islands Depths: Navigating back to the subterranean ice cavern to battle and catch the legendary bird Articuno after enduring Mist, Mind Reader, and Agility stat stalls!
💤 Route 16 Roadblock: Playing the Poké Flute to wake the western sleeping Snorlax and securing the capture for our collection.
🚴 Cycling Road Cash Grind: Riding down Routes 16 and 17 to sweep Bikers and Cue Balls with Articuno, Moltres, and Charizard—powering Charizard to Level 50 and banking over 8,000 Poké Dollars for Zapdos!
Let us know which ball you used to catch Articuno and Moltres!
