Part 1: Funeral Songs is part one of an exciting resurrection of the old sound. A return to some of the grittier, fun songs we've had on some of our past records. We felt a sense of freedom on this EP to do what we wanted, which was to create new music that sounds and has the feel of old Theory of a Deadman. Part 1: Funeral Songs is a rock and roll labor of love for you all to enjoy. Filled to the brim with songs to turn up loud, to sing along with, to bang your head to and to take a piece from to carry with you. That's what it's always been about, and in the world we live in today, this era and iteration of Theory of a Deadman is exactly what the world needs.
