Senso Sounds welcomes OZBEK & Zafer Atabey. Following on from OZBEK's "Milky Way" the Turkish-American coop presents "Midnight Shuffle".
The tightly wooven track unfolds around a steady pulse and a subtle sense of
movement, balancing hypnotic rhythms with melodic details that gradually reveal themselves over time. it builds through texture, restraint and carefully placed shifts,
allowing the groove to carry the track forward. The accompanying instrumental version offers the same atmosphere in its purest form, placing even greater focus
on the interplay between rhythm, space and sound design.
For OZBEK & Zafer Atabey, the release marks another step in an evolving collaboration that draws from different corners of contemporary electronic music without feeling tied to any one tradition. “These tracks represent where we are creatively right now.
