Description

[Complex] How to fold an Inflatable Human Brain with Deployable Dragon Wings. This model is only complex relative to models I normally teach on this channel.
Here is the link to download the free Brain Template https://drive.google.com/file/d/1srPEVl9M6eTfRBPVJrfYJObBi6E-FAJB/view?usp=sharing
And here is an older template with the lines hand-drawn onto the brain

Tips:
🧠 If you are having trouble inflating the brain, just reach into the hole to three-dimensionalize it.
🧠 Especially when folded out of larger paper, the two pockets on the sides (from when we made the open sinks) will tend to open. The way to keep them closed without using glue is to reach inside the model and folds to these two sunken flaps (reverse folds).
🧠 The brain stem really should be pushed up against the cerebellum so that it's angle to the right (which I didn't do) This can be achieved by wetfolding, clamping in place and drying.
🧠 I think it would look neat to make a wire stand that goes up through the brain stem and somehow fills up the inflated brain to help keep it rigid. On the table the other end of the wire could be fashioned into a circular base covered by opaque paper, so the effect is that the brain is balancing just on the brain stem. The wire would need to be sufficiently thick and rigid in order to achieve this.
🧠 For the shaping, it's good to consult the original 3-D Brain that I used to model the model: https://www.brainfacts.org/3d-brain#intro=true
