Presenting a mix featuring music released by Lagartijeando on Wonderwheel Recordings, including his latest release; Wirikuta.
This mix expands his psychedelic cumbia universe with a more grounded, cinematic touch. Andean charangos, bombo legüero percussion, and downtuned sonidero textures weave through cumbia chicha and hip-hop-leaning rhythms, creating a lush electronic journey inspired by desert landscapes, ritual movement, and the communal spirit of celebration.

17 years ago, in a dream of the desert universe of Wirikuta Mexico, a musical project that evokes the spirit of a Latin American surrealism, was born under the name Lagartijeando to musician and artist Mati Zundel.
Carefully curating a mix between the ancestral, the folkloric and the contemporary, Mati has released +5 albums which were recorded on various trips through Latin America.
