Yo, yo...
I've got two pieces of exciting news for you:
1. This is my first EVER Dubstep remix
2. This video was shot entirely in India
Personally, I prefer the old school Dubstep sounds over the new sh#t that's been coming out. And last spring, I absolutely fell in love with OneRepublic's Love Runs Out. So I began working on a little something, something and eventually this track was born.
As for shooting the video, just as 2014 was coming to a close, I had a chance to visit all of my family back in Hyderabad, India. I hadn't been in almost 10 years. And it was incredible!
While there, we took a trip over to Kerala. And let me tell you, that has to be one of THE dopest spots I've ever vacationed. Seriously… I've travelled quite a bit in my day and Kerala is up there with Hawaii. So if you ever get the chance, GO!
Anyhow, while I was in Kerala, I whipped out my iPhone and just started taking video. Then my cousin and I, who by the way, assisted me in the cinematography, found this abandoned building at one of the resorts we were staying at. Next thing you know, he got out the DSLR and we got down to business!
