In his 24sqm/258sqft apartment in Melbourne’s Cairo Flats, architect Nicholas Agius designed a folding kitchen that doubles as a door to the bedroom. A bookshelf on one side and pantry on the other make the moving unit work harder, creating flexibility while preserving the Art Deco apartment’s light and character.
