My first soaring flight in Norway – and the weather couldn't have been much better, with cloudbase up to 2,600 m. Arne Martin Güttler showed me around his playground in the mountains, him in his JS3 RES and me in the AS 33 Me, both electric self-launchers.
The scenery is hard to put into words: countless mountain lakes, high plateaus, snow and glaciers below us the whole flight. It got very cold up there, but every bit of it was worth it.
