North Carolina pulled off an incredible comeback in a do-or-die Game 3 of their Super Regional against USC. The Tar Heels entered the 9th inning trailing 3-2, and had sputtered on offense all game long. They were just 2-25 across the three games during the Super Regional with runners in scoring position. Led by Cooper Nicholson, Carter French, Jake Schaffner, Gavin Gallaher, and star Owen Hull, the Heels scored two runs in the bottom of the 9th to earn a walk-off victory over the Trojans and punched their ticket to the College World Series for the second time in three years.
