Description
In Dong Hoi, Vietnam, there was a stretch of sidewalk that had essentially been erased from local memory. It wasn’t demolished by machines; instead, it was swallowed by six years of aggressive, unchecked overgrowth. Thick, fibrous weeds had claimed the walkway as their own, weaving through the cracks and prying up the pavement until the path became an impassable obstacle course of tangled green. For years, pedestrians were forced into the street, the sidewalk having surrendered entirely to the "jungle."
Enter the Clean Up Mowing Team. This group of dedicated locals decided that a kilometer of public space was worth saving, even without government backing or heavy machinery. Armed with basic tools and sheer persistence, they spent ten days in the trenches. They didn’t just trim the surface; they hacked, scraped, and uprooted weeds that had spent over half a decade embedding themselves into the very foundation of the concrete.
The video reveals the clean side of the sidewalk.
