Crawl Text: Early in 2020, as a submission specifically for THE FESTIVAL — a so-called “social distance film fest” — during the first Covid quarantine, I made a short film titled Neighbors.
I withheld from publishing Neighbors then because THE FESTIVAL was delayed multiple times. It now seems to be delayed indefinitely.
Therefore, the subject matter of Neighbors is no longer timely; the hoarding of toilet paper that occurred in the early days of the pandemic is now a quaint memory from a time before the Orwellian darkness that would follow.
But it would have been kind of funny at the time.
