"Fernande, Cecile is an ode to who my grandmother was: a safe haven who gave the best butterfly kisses and had the softest touch. I was 7 years old when I lost her due to Alzheimer’s disease and it broke my heart that we never got the chance to say goodbye. To thank her after all, for her guidance, to believe in my intuition and to never settle for less than being me. This album is also an ode to my mother: for the extraordinary 29 years she gave and continues to give me. For showing me how to care for and love someone abundantly and for being my absolute unwavering support. For talking about our past and memories for the last year and a half. Being able to share this album with her is my way of showing how much I care for her" Natasha
