On April 6th, we celebrated the 80th birthday of Professor Kuppuswamy Anantha Padmanabhan and his distinguished contributions to science. To mark the occasion, Professor Ganpati Ramanath of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, USA, delivered a lecture on the molecular tailoring of interfaces and the synthesis of nanomaterials for energy and electronic applications.
The talk explores the frontiers of interface science, specifically how "nanoglue" layers and atomic-level engineering can transform the way we manage heat and electricity in next-generation devices. This presentation is a testament to the international collaboration and vision that Professor Padmanabhan has inspired throughout his career.
