My original song I wrote based on the series Big Little Lies | Jane & Celeste. The theme song and soundtrack to this series is absolutely phenomenal. "Michael Kiwanuka Cold Little Heart”, “Leon Bridges River” and “Agnes Obel September Song” are my absolute favourites.
“My Lips Sealed” captures the story of both Jane a young single mother and Celeste a reserved wife (Shailene Woodley and Nicole Kidman) in their traumatic struggle with sexual assault and domestic violence. I absolutely love the show and once I finished watching the finale I just felt inspired to write/compose this song.
