I can't believe it has been four years since I started making videos about dental school.
In 2016, I started off as a wide eyed nervous but eager first year dental student. Now it's 2020 and I'm ready to begin my next chapter as a dentist...
I would have never believed that we could have created an amazing Plaque Pal community.
These past four years, I not only wanted to create a community for pre-dental and dental students, but I also wanted to share my story... as authentically and as relatable as I could.
With social media, it seems like dental school is perfect sometimes, with perfect smiles, perfect scrubs, perfect poses, perfect lab cases. I hope that following along on my journey in dental school through YouTube and Instagram helps you feel a little better knowing that everything is not perfect. There's always going to be good times, and there's always going to be bad times. The most important thing is to dream big, work hard, and to never give up. :)
