After years of dealing with hair loss, I recently visited my dermatologist and found out that I'm experiencing not one, but TWO types of alopecia: **alopecia areata and traction alopecia.**
This isn't my first experience with hair loss. I actually visited a dermatologist back in 2023 and received treatment for some of the same areas I'm still struggling with today.
In this video, I'm opening up about my diagnosis, my experience with hair loss as a natural hair girlie, and why I've decided to take my hair growth journey more seriously.
My dermatologist prescribed ciclopirox shampoo and minoxidil as part of my treatment plan, and I'm hopeful about seeing progress as I continue documenting my journey. 🌱
