People often ask what else could the mothbox do? The cool thing about open source science Hardware is that it can be easily remixed and applied to new scientific challenges! Doing Mothbox surveys in Indonesia during Dinacon, led to serendipity where we could quickly see if the mothbox could be used as an undersea monitor for the coral restoration projects at @seacommunities . Turns out it's pretty easy to do!
We need to find tune some things with the camera focusing settings but other than that it's quite easy to adapt it!
