Description
Radhakrishna Tumbalam Gooty is a Senior Research Engineer at KeyLogic Systems, and supports research at the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL). He received his PhD from Purdue University and worked with Prof. Rakesh Agrawal and Prof. Mohit Tawarmalani. Prior to that, he received B. Tech. (Honors) and M. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. His current research interests include application of mixed integer programming techniques and global optimization methods for various applications arising in energy and power systems. He received the AIChE CAST Division’s W. David Smith Jr. Graduate Student Paper Award and the AIChE Separations Division Graduate Student Research Award for his work on distillation-based separations.
