Description
The year I spent in Korea felt like a dream - I was in a consistently better place mentally for the 14 months I spent there than most of my adult life beforehand. I learned more how to love myself, realize my dreams and practice things I love with amazing people from too many countries who I'll never forget. In this year I was able to articulate my career goals to myself as teaching english deviated from where my heart was in science - and with a clearer heart and mind I'm back in Canada and applying to graduate school, 6 programs across the country in the hopes I get accepted to at least one, to follow my dreams.
This video will air on the eve (in my timezone lol) of my first application due date - December 15 - and the rest of the applications are spread out until the last one on January 19, so I doubt this'll be a very restful holiday. Whenever I switch into this account I'm reminded of how important community is and feeling like a part of something bigger, and I'm so glad to have a warm heart whenever I see new people's comments every day on my videos, that my past memories are still giving others joy. Thank you for reading until now and hope you have very happy holidays with the individuals and communities that make you feel warm. xo
