The challenge wasn't just matching the BPM—it was rebuilding both songs so they could exist as one track.
For this mashup, I:
Matched the tempos without losing each song's original feel.
Reworked the instrumental structure to support both vocal styles.
Adjusted the key and harmonies so the vocals blended naturally.
Layered transitions and edits to make it feel like one complete production rather than two songs playing at the same time.
My goal was to create something that sounds like NewJeans and aespa actually collaborated on a single track.
