Last time we went on the MARC Commuter Rail was way back in 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
And right now in 2026, i'm back on the MARC Commuter Rail ride to Perryville Station and yes, we had a different consist today. We were riding inside a Bombardier Multilevel Coach which is known as MARC IV rolling stock. The engine we had today was the MPI MP36PH-3C and the speed was not that fast than the Bombardier HHP-8 locomotive and the Siemens SC-44 Charger locomotive that goes 125 mph. The maximum speed for the MPI MP36PH-3C locomotive is 100 mph.
