Actually it was not the one i was working on since few days, the idea came to me in a dream 2 days agos ( YEAH, i know, inspiration is a weird thing x) ) .
I wanted to put in parallel the 2 weddings, to show from how far malec came from. To show Alec's struggles and evolution , and also how Magnus has been accepted by Alec's family. I think this parallel shows how happy everyone is at the end, when Alec has to finally married the men he loves, and not a women because of his duty.
It's a real message of acceptance, thanks Shadowhunters for that !
