During the Mother's day sales last year I scored a bargain on a sewing machine at Aldi. The cashier said it was a delightful thing to purchase my mother. I then explained I was learning to sew and she laughed at me...
For Christmas last year (2017) I ambitiously decided to make my girlfriend Georgie a dress. I entirely expected to transform it into a handkerchief mid-build if it all turned to chaos...fortunately it didn't!
