This liner trick can be done as thin or thick as you like - and is PERFECT for hooded eyelids. The "wing" is mostly off the eyelids so it does not make hooded eyelids look smaller. I call it a "Batwing" liner because the shape reminds me of a Bat wing and keeping that general image in mind makes it easy to draft the shape.
