Sunday 28th August is The@makatoncharityCharity's first ever Makaton International Awareness Day, celebrating 50 years of the Makaton Language Programme and the birthday of its founder, Margaret Walker.
Makaton is very close to our hearts here at Wouldn't Change A Thing. People with Down syndrome are often visual learners and using signs & symbols to support communication has changed the lives for many of the people we love. For this reason we wanted to make a little video to help celebrate today.
