Description
This is how the MacBook Neo performs using multiple instances of Neural DSP within Logic compared to the 16gb Mini Mac M4. In short, 20 tracks of Neural DSP was using around 60% of Neo's CPU (30% on the M4) and some info on the time taken to run the Mastering Assistant and Bounce the project on both machines. The takeaway is this - the Neo is a very capable machine if you're using a dozen guitar tracks, drums and some midi keyboard tracks. If you're after 30 plus tracks plus larger Kontakt type sample libraries, then you'd be looking at something with more Oomph than the Neo. Please ignore the music - it's a quick and dirty test with absolutely no care taken in the music side of things!! But you can find my music here: johnholgate.bandcamp.com
