Heyooo! its been awhile since I uploaded smthin Q_Q I wanted to share wth y'all a short animation I did for one of my animation classes. For this project we had to do a short 30-60 seconds animation hence the pacing might seem a bit fast but I hope y'all enjoy it! and lmk in the comments what u think of it! :D ps: For those who don't know I'm back on lpsgram idt I'll be back on YouTube as making videos takes a lot of time and I'm v. busy with school and my art but feel free to drop me a follow there @lpszanne, I'll be posting pics, edits and selling some customs from time to time !

Lucid is a short animation about a painter named Jasper who falls into this strange world with a vast green field and a forest of mushrooms. Upon arrival Jasper receives a magical paintbrush in which he uses to paint his dog, Buddy, and accidentally bring Buddy to life. Jasper then remembers that Buddy loves to play fetch with his paintbrush and starts to play fetch with Buddy. However, upon the second throw, the paintbrush ended up in the mushroom forest in which Buddy also follows into. As time passes, Buddy has yet to return and Jasper gets worried so, he decided to venture in the mushroom forest to find Buddy. But, atlas Buddy was gone and Jasper breaks down in the mushroom forest. Suddenly, Jasper wakes up in his bedroom realising that it was all just a dream, and is hit by the crushing reality of which Buddy is actually gone forever.
I spent a lot of time making this with my other group member and tbh the teacher LOL didn't really give us any good compliments which was a big yikes but Im proud of us and I think we did a good job :(
