👀 WHAT YOU'RE SEEING
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Unlike white-light solar viewing, hydrogen-alpha reveals the Sun's chromosphere - a thin layer of atmosphere above the visible surface. Look out for:
🔥 Prominences - Giant loops of plasma on the Sun's edge
🌀 Filaments - Dark ribbons (prominences seen face-on)
⚫ Sunspots - Cooler magnetic regions
💥 Flares - Sudden brightenings (if we're lucky!)
🌊 Spicules - The "burning prairie" texture across the disc
