However, when a magical relationship is slowly coming to an end or when your love is one-sided and unreturned, it can be excruciatingly painful. Not only does it feel as if the other person stabbed you in the heart but it also seems as if the emotional wounds simply do not heal. Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Lil Sokz first started composing in middle school. He focused on remixing songs, which attracted a diverse group of listeners. Lil Sokz spent 4 years in Massachusetts, studying music at Wheaton College. Today Lil Sokz continues to express himself through the fusion of reggae and hip-hop. His laidback vibes are fuelled with deep, hard-hitting bass and drum rhythms that are the bedrock for hypnotic riddims, all of which compliment the infectious melodies that are smooth as silk.
