INGREDIENTS

• Fresh Lemons — 4 large
• Water — 4 cups (chilled)
• Sugar — 6 tablespoons (adjust to taste)
• Salt — 1/4 teaspoon
• Ice cubes — as needed

METHOD

1. Wash the lemons thoroughly under running water and pat them dry with a clean cloth
2. Roll each lemon on the counter with gentle pressure using your palm to help release more juice
3. Cut the lemons in half and extract all the juice using a citrus juicer or by hand, removing any seeds
4. In a large pitcher, add the freshly squeezed lemon juice
5. Add sugar and salt to the lemon juice and mix well until the sugar completely dissolves
6. Pour in the chilled water and stir everything together thoroughly
7. Taste and adjust the sweetness or tanginess by adding more sugar or lemon juice as per your preference
8. Add ice cubes and fresh mint leaves if using for extra refreshment
9. Pour into individual glasses and serve immediately
