All that being said, before we do some LEGO Shopping, I need to take some time to hare my thoughts on the recent Bricks & Minifigs Corporate LEGO scandal & controversy.
As you’ll hear in the video, I firstly explain why I couldn’t comment on the scandal immediately and why I decided to wait before sharing my perspective. Just like many of you, I am beyond frustrated by what I’m seeing online, I can’t believe it hasn’t been settled yet and I just want to see this situation resolved. One of the biggest reasons that I’m frustrated though is because I’ve seen how negatively this scandal has impacted the independently owned and operated BAM stores across the country, but especially Bricks & Minifigs Kitchener Waterloo. I’ve worked with BAMKW for over a year now, and I cannot say enough positive things about their store, the owners, their staff, etc. It’s been very tough, because as much as I want to still support this family and their dream, who opened their store to share their love of LEGO with their local community, I don’t like what I am seeing online about BAM Corporate.
Please keep the comments respectful and productive, I am open to honest dialogue and discussion, but pure hate comments will be deleted.
