From LA to NYC!!! Our 7 day road trip after 25 years in LA to start a new chapter of life in NYC!! With my @JaylaFranklin for her career and to be closer to Europe where my family resides.
We planned it all out last year in 2024, downsized, sold furniture and put everything in storage. I had a hitch installed on my SUV and rented a U-Haul trailer. Then I planned a good route and cities easy to get to, motels and hotels to spend each night. Below find my route/cities we took. Everything went according to plan, no issues along the way and everything worked out as planned. Enjoy this video of us, raw and recorded on our phones. Happy to start this new chapter and the city we have always loved. If you are uncertain and don't know if you can do it: YOU CAN!!!! Make a plan, work out the details and just go for it!!!!
1st day: from LA to Flagstaff, AZ
2nd day: from Flagstaff, AZ to Albuquerque, NM
3rd day: from Albuquerque, NM to Elk City, OK
4th day: from Elk City, OK to Springfield, MO
5th day: from Springfield, MO to Indianapolis, IN
6th day: from Indianapolis, IN to Pittsburgh, PA
7th day: from Pittsburgh, PA to New York, NY
I know there is different routes you can take, but I didn't want to drive for 3 days through Texas, so planned a bit more northern route.

Featured interviews include SIRIUS Satellite Radio on shows such as “The Drama Hour” with DJ Kay Slay, “The Cipha Sounds Effect” and “MAXIM Radio” as well as "PLAYBOY Radio". In the near future, she and her daughter will ideally work as a mother - daughter fashion duo with different backgrounds, one learning from the other.
