Habitué des tracks combo avec une myriade d’invités, le crew de beatmakers réussi le tour de force de réunir pas moins de 6 artistes sur « Muffin Kings », enregistrés tous en même temps par Little Lion Sound en Jamaïque. On y retrouve les pionniers du raggamuffin Danny English, Bunny General et Hollow Point, les chanteurs rub-a-dub Echo Minott et Tristan Palmer mais aussi la nouvelle génération avec le talentueux Eesah. Le beat hip-hop inna yardie style typique de L’Entourloop et les prestations vocales de ces invités prestigieux font de « Muffin Kings » un banger instantané que le collectif a pu jouer en version inédite devant un public conquis lors de sa grande tournée européenne qui s’achèvera le 29 Novembre à l’Adidas Arena à Paris. L’Entourloop tient à dédier ce morceau à Danny English, disparu peu de temps après l’enregistrement ainsi qu’aux victimes de l’ouragan Melissa en Jamaïque.

🇬🇧 French collective L’Entourloop pays tribute to the golden age of sound system culture with their new single “Muffin Kings.” Known for combo tracks featuring a myriad of guests, the beatmakers crew achieves a real tour de force by bringing together no fewer than six artists on “Muffin Kings,” all recorded during the same session by Little Lion Sound in Jamaica. The track features raggamuffin pioneers Danny English, Bunny General, and Hollow Point, rub-a-dub singers Echo Minott and Tristan Palmer, as well as the new generation represented by the talented Eesah. L’Entourloop’s signature hip-hop inna yardie style beat and the vocal performances of these prestigious guests make “Muffin Kings” an instant banger, which the collective performed in an unreleased version in front of an enthusiastic audience during their major European tour, set to end on November 29 at the Adidas Arena in Paris. L’Entourloop dedicates this track to Danny English, who passed away shortly after the recording, as well as to the victims of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.
