I SUPPORT THE UKRAINE. I took this video on 8/10/1988 at the Memorial of Eternal Glory inside the Park of Eternal Glory in Kiev, Ukraine. At the time someone told me that when a couple married, afterwards they went to some USSR memorial to pay tribute.
In August 1988 I spent nearly a month in the Soviet Union. I traveled from Germany to Vienna, Austria to Budapest, Hungary to Kiev, Ukraine to Moscow, Russia to Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg), Russia to Helsinki, Finland.
