My Kolkata To Kashmir train journey vlog is here. I did this journey in two parts, first from Howrah to New Delhi in 12301 Howrah Rajdhani's First AC and then from New Delhi to Jammu in 22477 SMVD Katra Vande Bharat.
This is the fastest connectivity between Kolkata and Kashmir as Howrah Rajdhani is the fastest train between Kolkata & Delhi and the Katra Vande Bharat is the fastest option between Delhi & Jammu.
The combined journey by these two trains will take you from Howrah to Jammu in about 29 hours after a 5 hour layover at New Delhi. If that 5 hour layover time is deducted, we can clearly see the Rajdhani & Vande Bharat can complete the journey in as little as 24 hours. Where the direct trains between Kolkata & Jammu take about 37-45 hours.
