Rohrbach studied at Greenwich Academy (an elite private high school for girls founded in 1827) in Greenwich, Connecticut. She played golf at the Academy and thus won an athletic scholarship to study at Georgetown University, playing for the Georgetown Hoyas. Rohrbach graduated from Georgetown in 2012 with a degree in drama, then enrolled at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art to train in acting.
Rohrbach made her acting debut as a supporting character in the 2012 film Wilt; She then worked on several short-lived character television series, including The New Normal, Two and a Half Men, and Rizzoli & Isles.
As a model, she has worked in advertising campaigns for the Gap and Old Navy textile companies in 2014 and 2015; this last year she also appeared in the Swimsuit Edition of Sports Illustrated magazine, as the "Rookie of the Year". Kelly Rohrbach was chosen to play C. J. Parker (character originally played by Pamela Anderson) in the movie Baywatch based on the series of the same name, released on May 25, 2017.
