Kareena Was Terrified After Seeing Saif Covered in Blood
In the latest episode of the final season of ‘Koffee With Karan’, the couple spoke openly about the knife attack on Saif at their home last year. For the first time, they also reacted to the rumours and conspiracy theories questioning the circumstances surrounding the attack.
Kareena said, “I don't understand these conspiracy theories. It means people believe that the police were also involved with us because they caught the accused. So, was the police also part of this conspiracy? Saif's son and our house help, Hari, took him to the hospital. It is terrible that people raised such questions.”
Recalling that night, Kareena revealed that she was stopping an auto-rickshaw on the road while wearing her night T-shirt. She said, “It's a good thing nobody made a video of me at that time, Karan. I was screaming on the road. I was running around like a mad person, and Saif was bleeding. The first thing Tim asked at that moment was, ‘Abba, are you going to die?’”
Saif Ali Khan Recalls the Entire Attack
Saif, meanwhile, revealed that he tried to remain calm and composed throughout the incident. He described that night as the worst night of his life. The actor also spoke about the severity of his injuries and how he tried to keep himself together during such a difficult time, especially with his children witnessing everything.
Kareena revealed that Saif was unable to walk at the time. She explained that doctors had to move his nerves to remove the knife from near his spinal cord. Kareena said, “I was completely broken, but he was fine.”
Kareena Reveals How Jeh Tried to Protect His Father
Kareena also shared that her younger son, Jeh, witnessed the entire incident with his own eyes. Later, he gave Saif his plastic toy sword so that he could protect his father in the future. According to Kareena, Jeh looks at his father as if he were Iron Man.
