We live in a world where drones are no longer just tools for aerial photography or delivery. They have become formidable weapons, capable of carrying explosives, conducting reconnaissance, and, most dangerously, operating in swarms. Kamikaze drones, or loitering munitions, are a special breed. They can patrol a designated area 24/7, searching for targets, then locate them, dive, and transform into homing missiles. Their small size, cost, and relative ease of use make them accessible to a wide range of actors, significantly complicating counteraction.
Attacking from "all sides" isn't just a metaphor. Modern conflicts demonstrate how adversaries can use drones from multiple directions, creating chaos and overloading defense systems. This forces us to question the effectiveness of our existing defenses.
