formed in hanover, lower saxony in 2004, gebrechlichkeit has forged a path through raw black metal, combining harsh soundscapes, bleak emotions and a relentless expression of human despair. across releases such as “glanz und elend” (2012), “aphorismen der angst” (2016), and “gott endet hier” (2023), the band delivers a cold and intense journey through themes of existential darkness, anti-religious criticism, and the darker aspects of human nature.
with a sound rooted in the traditional spirit of black metal while maintaining its own identity, gebrechlichkeit stands as an expression of isolation, aggression and nihilistic atmosphere.
for listeners seeking uncompromising black metal filled with raw intensity and sinister moods, gebrechlichkeit offers a journey into the shadows.
