Jake Joseph Paul is an American actor and internet personality from Cleveland, Ohio, who rose to internet fame on the now-defunct video application Vine.
Career
Jake began his career in September 2013 posting videos on Vines. In 2015, it was announced that Jake would be starring as Dirk, alongside Olivia Rodrigo and Madison Hu in Disney Channel's new sitcom Bizaardvark.[2] As of 2016, he has starred in a variety of other independent films as well.
Personal life
Jake has an older brother, Vine phenomenon Logan Paul. While attending Westlake Highschool in Cleveland, Ohio, Paul trained as a wrestler. After realizing that he wanted to follow through with filmmaking, he began making internet videos in 2013, and became successful on Vine, gaining millions of followers.
White House Breach
On January 5-6th, 2017 Jake hid in the bathroom of the Eisenhower Executive Building in Washington DC after attending a Social Media Event at the White House.[3] Paul was able to spend several hours hidden in the bathroom before leaving in the early morning hours unseen and unobserved. Paul filmed the entire stunt for his YouTube Vlog Channel.[4] Secret Service tracked Paul down at his home in Los Angeles and later deemed him a non-threat.
