((يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ ارْجِعِي إِلَى رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي))
Oh tranquil soul, return to your Lord pleased and pleased with, and enter among my slaves and enter my Paradise.

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

لله ما أخذ، وله ما أعطى، وكلُّ شيءٍ عنده بأجلٍ مُسمّى. بمزيدٍ من الحزن والأسى، والتسليم بقضاء الله وقدره، ننعى وفاةَ قلبِ العائلة الكريمة، الحاجة مفيدة زيدان (أم غسان دبابو)، التي توفيت مساء يوم الجمعة. رحمها الله رحمةً واسعة، وأسكنها فسيح جناته، وألهم أهلها وذويها الصبر والسلوان. إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.

‏With deep sorrow and submission to the will of Allah, we mourn the passing of the matriarch of the Dababo Family, elder Hajjah Moufida Zaidan (Um Ghassan Dababo), rahmatullahe alaiha, who passed away on Friday July 17, 2026 (Jumuah) in the evening before maghrib.

*Reward for attending janazah salat & burial*

روى البخاري (1325) ومسلم (945) عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : ( مَنْ شَهِدَ الْجَنَازَةَ حَتَّى يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ ، وَمَنْ شَهِدَهَا حَتَّى تُدْفَنَ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ . قِيلَ : وَمَا الْقِيرَاطَانِ ؟ قَالَ : مِثْلُ الْجَبَلَيْنِ الْعَظِيمَيْنِ ) رواه البخاري (1325) ومسلم (945)

Al-Bukhaari (1325) and Muslim (945) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever attends the funeral until the prayer has been offered will have one qiraat (of reward) and whoever attends until the deceased has been buried will have two qiraats.” It was said, “What are the two qiraats?” He said: “Like two great mountains.”

اللَّهُمَّ أغْفِر لَها وَارْحَمْها وعَافِيها وَاعْفُ عَنْها وَأَكْرِم نُزُلَها وَوَسَّعْ مُدْخَلَها وَاغْسِلْهُا بِالماءِ والثَلْجِ والبَرَدِ ونقِّهِا من الخَطايا كما يُنَقّى الثوبُ الأَبْيَضُ من الدَّنَسِ

(Transliteration)

Allahumma-ghfir laha warhamha wa'afiha wa'fu 'anha wa akrim nuzulaha wa wasi' mudkhalaaha wa 'ghsilha bil-ma'i wath-thalji wal-baradi wa naqqihiha min al-khataya kama yunaqqa al-thawbu al-abyadu min al-danas.

(Translation)

O Allah forgive him, have mercy on her, grant her safety and pardon her and make her reception honorable, expand her grave and cleanse her with water, snow, and hail and purify her from sin like a white robe is purified of dirt (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, no. 963).
