Militant group Hezbollah promised to retaliate against Israel after accusing it of detonating pagers across Lebanon on Tuesday (Sept 17), killing at least 12 people and wounding nearly 3,000 others.
The victims include four medical staff, an eight-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy, according to Lebanon's health ministry. Hezbollah confirmed in an earlier statement that the deaths included at least two of its fighters.
