It has been a question asked since the beginning of time. in fact, Satan asked Eve, "You certainly won't die!" which is how he is twisting our version of death and God's integrity and intentions for allowing death and suffering. Human nature and carnal thinking will only see the effects of death and suffering from a carnal worldview. But think about it.. even 40 years of suffering is forgotten in heaven with over a trillion years [eternity actually] of an exhilarating feeling this world could never give us. No pain, no suffering, no anger, jealousy, hunger, death and stress. Just eating, seeing dead loved ones, and an extraordinary un-ending universe to explore with a God who knew better than death.
